We are excited to share that the first TEPE bite initiative is already moving from an idea toward reality.
The project is called RE-CONNECT BUNARDZHIKA, and its goal is to improve the area around the small fountain at “Krugcheto” in Bunardzhika Park — a place many people in Plovdiv know, but one that has the potential to become much more vibrant, beautiful, and meaningful.
Our idea is to transform this space through contemporary graphic art. Not simply to “paint” it, but to turn it into a place that catches attention, makes people stop, look around, communicate, and feel a stronger connection to one of Plovdiv’s most recognizable hills.
We already have important partners behind the project. Orgachim is joining as a technical sponsor and will support us with the materials needed for the realization of the initiative. This is a major step forward, because it allows us to think not only creatively, but also sustainably — with the right materials and with care for the durability of the final result.
We are also working with an artistic group that will prepare the design of the space and carry out the art intervention itself. The goal is for the visual identity to feel modern, recognizable, and connected to the spirit of Bunardzhika, while still respecting the natural character of the place.
We have already received preliminary permission in principle from the Mayor of the Central District to organize the project. On May 18, 2026, we have an official meeting with him, where we expect to receive final confirmation and discuss the last details before implementation.
RE-CONNECT BUNARDZHIKA is the first step in TEPE bite’s bigger mission — to show that a local product can return value back to the city. The project will be put into action very soon.
